Never...

                                                                        Never…

I’ll never kiss your face at night
Or hug you in the morning
I’ll never calm you after a fight
And tell you that everything will be all right

I’ll never wipe away your tears
Or watch you learn to crawl
I’ll never assuage your fears
Or take you to meet Santa at the mall

I’ll never teach you how to swim
Or watch you scuba dive
I’ll never hold your hand in mine
Or teach you how to survive

But of all the nevers there is one
Which hold most true
Of all of the nevers in the world

I’ll never stop loving you.

Complaining (Pet Peeve)

Why do people complain? What's the point? It's so useless! If life sucks, fix it, change it! Complaining makes everone miserable! Life is a journey and we are in control. Well, God is in control and when we let him, life is wonderful! Every problem has a solution--there is nothing that cannot be fixed or cured---except perhaps a disease. But we should never let external factors become a disease!

If the world were grumpy, everyone would be miserable!
So let's count our blessings!

And thank God that we are alive and let's stop complaining!

Shell program fans

I ordered these from www.beau-coup.com and didn't realize that I had to assemble them myself! However, I found the task relaxing and with some help from one of my bridesmaids, I only have 25 left! I highly recommend these--the editing staff was very helpful and efficient and they are just want I wanted!

Wine cork art: lamp shade

I made this for the Fundraiser gala for the French club basket. It took over 100 corks and took over 4 months but was worth it! It could go on any base but I think French themed ones work best!

How to Make Shell Christmas Ornaments.

Supplies: shells, hot glue gun/glue, ribbons, scissors, styrafoam balls, glitter paint and paintbrushes.

1. First, collect a variety of shells from the nearest beach. Or prettiest beach. These came from Venice and Nokomis Beach, FL.

 2. Take a round styrafoam ball and hot glue shells all around it.

3. Paint them with sparkly paint. I think the gold works best but I have also used red and clear sparkles.

4.Once the paint dries, take ribbon. I recommend Christmas themed ribbon. Make a loop so that it can be hung from a tree and glue it on.

5. Then make a ribbon and glue it on.

6. Glue a button, charm, or shell in the middle of the ribbon.

7. Congratulations! Shell ornaments completed!

Best Uses:
Wedding Invitation
Describe Yourself:
Bride
Wedding Theme:
Destination
Wedding Colors:
Malibu
They are simple and hassle free but classy and elegant. Great for the busy bride who doesn't want to put ribbons on the invitations. With the extra envelope and reception card(no rsvp card because it's a cruise wedding with only 60 guests) we were able to use standard forever stamps instead of the expensive stamps. I also used the malibu lined envelops and wish I had bought seals/stickers online to match. You can't seal the envelope without a seal--it doesn't have the sticky stuff on the lined enveloppes. I didn't have anyone helping me and it didn't take very long to stick the invitations in the envelopes.

Daniel Diet Crashed

I acknowledge responisibilty for my own actions. However, this diet was supposed to be a collaboration diet with my mother. I am only 6 pounds away from my ideal wedding weight and my wedding is 4 months and 5 days away. When a person asks me to help them, I am more than happy to oblige. But I refuse to continue a strict diet when the person who convinced me to do it with them cheats everyday! I did the diet in January (for 24 days! so I do not feel like a failer because I have completed it before. I plan on reinstating this diet January 3rd until the wedding (or at LEAST for 3 weeks) but I see no point in depriving myself of delicious pumpkin treats and autumn foods when my counterpart fails to uphold her end of the bargain.

Daniel Diet Day 6

It was so nice to sleep in until 8am, which is late for someone who usually wakes up at 6. One aspect that I love about this diet is that I always sleep well and wake up refreshed and energized! My breakfast was coffee (I cheated and added cream to it!) and then had honeydew from my mom's garden.

My mother cheated on the diet on Thursday and is planning on cheating tonight so I might as well cheat and eat sushi! I already lost 2 pounds! Only 6 to go to weigh what I want to weigh on my wedding day! Too bad it's not until February--I'll probably have to suffer through this strict diet after the New Year until February 15th!

What I wish I was eating--my fiance and I had this seabass and peanut butter & jelly creme brulee at the Flying Fish restaurant in Orlando:

My hibiscus iced tea is amazing--I'm on my third glass today! Popcorn should suffice for my evening snack--I never thought I'd get sick of hummus but that day has unexpectedly arrived!
